Previously, the Goddards' conservatory was glazed on all sides as well as a completely glazed roof. This led to the issue of it being more of a greenhouse than a functional living area; being far too hot in the summer and far too cold in the winter.
To remedy this, we opted for the Ultraframe LivinRoof which offers the customers a plastered internal perimeter that can house low energy down-lighters. It gives a solid look to the conservatory creating more of a living room feel. The great feature of LivinRoof is that it can incorporate one, or a number of glazed panels that allows daylight to penetrate deep into your room with the remaining roof sections are manufactured from highly insulated aluminium panels.
The improved thermal performance of the roof was one of the key requirements for the Goddards and the LivinRoof is 15 times more energy efficient than their old glass roof; ensuring a stable temperature in the room and making it much more pleasant environment.
